Spring Swim Camp Week 5 - Body Rotation

A good way to get the feel of body roll is to stand in water that is up to your chest. But your hands on you hips with your elbows out, then rotate 45 degrees left and 45 degrees right from the hips, similar to a washing machine! Keep your upper body straight and head still, looking forward.Kick on front, rotate to the side from your hips to breathe.
Body Rotation
Another good drill for body rotation is front crawl on your side with an arm stroke and body rotation. Remember to rotate from your hips.
