Spring Swim Camp Week 7 - Pull & Push / Sculling

Sculling - this helps to get the 'feel' of the water

Sculling

Front Scull

Front Sculling

Mid Scull - on your front with hands deep in the water below your chest. Keep elbows bent, and make sure sculling is in and out from elbows.

Dog Paddle - combination of front and mid scull

Sculling on back

Sculling on Back

Two armed under water pull. From catch to pull to push phases. Ensure to accelerate the movement towards to push phase and ensure a strong push.

Over the barrel - imagine trying to swim over a barrel and push it behind you.

Over the Barrel Stroke
